Apartment 1: SOLD for $872,000
Auction: Saturday 24 July at 11.00am
Well there is no doubt about it, it has been a very turbulent time for Jason and Kirsten. But they know it was all worth it, especially today — auction day.

"I think I would do it again, but I don't think Kirsten would, no," says Jason.

Take a look back
It has all come to an end, and for Jason and Kirsten, it has been really tough. Let's take a look at the their journey — the ups, the downs and the tantrums: dialup | broadband

The hammer fell – second to auction
The auction day was kicked off with the announcement of the favourite couple, Matt & Jane, shortly followed by their auction.

There were five registered bidders for their auction and it seemed to naturally progress into what was an exciting auction for Jason & Kirsten.

The opening bid was at $750,000 and very quickly climbed in $5,000 increments back and forth between the bidders.

It very quickly rose to $790,000 and just kept climbing. It was then a battle of the paddles as two eager parties bid on the unit in $500 increments in the hope to secure this buy.

Going once, going twice, third and final call. Sold for $872,000.

The guys were thrilled with this as they had made $77,000 post the reserve. Congratulations to Jason & Kirsten.

Result
What a nail-biting experience it was for Jason & Kirsten as their nearest competitor, Jamie & Andrew’s apartment went up for auction. A disappointing $1,000 dollars was the difference to taking home an extra $100,000 but they are certainly happy with their result and very pleased for Jamie & Andrew.

The guys were certainly going to celebrate down at Manly wharf with their family and close friends.

Congratulations to our Toyota, Freedom and Taubmans Block winners.
