Welcome to your new home Jason and Kirsten were the third couple to arrive to arrive at The Block in Manly, with Jason making quite the entrance, riding in on the back of a motorbike.
It didn't take long for them to start bonding with the other couples but once the procedures got under way, they meant business.
When it was time to choose the colour of their beefed up Toyota RAV4, Kirsten was quick off the mark and knew exactly what she wanted, the pristine white model. The number on the keyring was three and that determined their rank in choosing their apartment not the apartment itself. So, when it came to their turn to choose, they decided on the garden flat, which is apartment number one.
Kirsten was the first to open the door and the reality of the state of the unit set in. "Oh my God, this is a disaster".
