They're no longer concerned about the budget, as their media room is coming in on target.
At the start of the week they wanted to do the bathroom, but after looking at the floor plan, they decide the middle room is the key.
Monday, day 39
Another week of work ahead. Jason thinks his job is suffering. "My work's piling up on the desk, it's been incredibly tough, it's a time challenge."
Budgeting is on everyone's mind this week as they look at funds for the next room-reveal, but Jason and Kirsten seem to be on top of their budget. They agree that winning a room helped them out, but they must keep on top of the spending at all times.
With the budget under control and the middle room under attack, their day jobs are now paying the toll. Kirsten has doubled some classes and pure physical exhaustion is hitting hard.
Structure and organisation are still the keys for our controlled couple. Juggling a million things at once is something they're used to.
Getting the middle room ready Switching from the bathroom to the middle bedroom late last week added pressure to the project, as time is against them. But they are pretty excited about the plans for this room, as it is not only a spare bedroom, but a home office. This is no ordinary home office, this is wired for sound, with top-of-the-range technology for a fantastic media room: dialup

Fun in the sun For fun and to continue the competition, Jamie Durie challenges our couples to a game of beach volleyball. There is a catch: if they win, they each get to keep $1000 from their budget. If they lose, they have to donate $1000 to Jamie's preferred charity. Congratulations to Jamie! He has beaten our couples and has kindly donated $4000 to the Children's Cancer Institution of Australia: dialup
