How would you describe yourself?
Easygoing, love to have a laugh, energetic and very competitive.
What are your personal strengths and weaknesses?
Strengths: very competitive, stylish, focused and enthusiastic. Weaknesses: very bossy.
What is your most endearing trait?
Very caring, trustworthy and easygoing.
What is your most annoying habit, if any?
I don't think this is annoying — Monique does … singing and clapping while driving — she hates it!
What are your hobbies?
Going to the gym.
What has been the biggest challenge in your life so far and how have you dealt with it?
My biggest challenge would have been when we first arrived in Australia from Lebanon. Two totally different lifestyles. Going to school in year 10, being the new kid around, making new friends and studying subjects I've never heard of before. I studied English overseas but had an American accent. I got along easily with everyone and, I think because of my personality, I got through everything with no problems.
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of?
Renovating our backyard.
What would be the craziest, wildest thing you would do for a lot of money?
Be part of The Block.
What would you NOT do for money?
Pretend to be someone I'm not. Take my clothes off … ha ha.
What made you enter The Block?
After watching the previous Block, my wife and I knew that we should be on the show. And the chance to win lots of money is great.
What makes you laugh?
Funny jokes and anyone with any sense of humour.
What skills do you bring to The Block?
Stylish renovations with fine detailing.
What unique quality will you bring to The Block?
Lots of humour.
Why do you believe that you could be the winner of The Block?
Monique and I work great as a team. We will be totally focused on what we do and give it 110 percent effort. We will have fun with our time on the show and I think that is very important to be able to get through the tough times.
What is your most treasured possession and why?
My watch. An engagement present from my wife.
Who is your hero and why?
My dad … for raising a family of five who love and care for each other and others. For bringing me up to be the person I am today.
Describe your perfect day?
Wake up late, go to gym, to the beach. Cook a nice dinner, watch a movie then go to bed.
What renovations have you done before?
We have renovated three houses, including: painting tiling, sanding and polishing floorboards, kitchen and bathroom, installation and outdoor landscaping.
Who was your favourite couple on The Block 1. Why?
Phil and Amity because they had fun with their time on the show.
What do you love most about your partner?
Her loving and caring nature.
How did you meet your partner?
Through mutual friends.
What is their most annoying habit/trait?
Waking me up early on weekends.
How do you relax?
Watch videos.

Deposit on a house and holiday.
