They have to win this room-reveal, as they are putting a lot of effort into making this a beautiful bathroom. The bathroom is completely blowing the budget out, but it is now a necessity to get this done.

Monday, day 39
Before Andrew heads off to work, he'll have to pitch in and do a bit more of the work to keep labour costs down and the budget on track.

Budgeting is on everyone's mind this week, especially Jamie and Andrew. They can't understand what they're doing wrong, but they are seriously running out of money for the other rooms. They know they are not skimping on quality, but something is not working out for them. However, Andrew has confidence that this is the winning room and if that's the case, the budget will be back on track.

As well as running out of money, they are running out of time. Jamie is worried that Andrew is working past the curfew and they will be fined. But at this late stage Andrew would rather cop the fine from the council than put the tools down.

Getting the middle room ready
Jamie Durie pays a visit to see how renovations are going for room-reveal three. He is curious to see how they are going with their bathroom and their builder … or lack thereof. But he is impressed with their choice of tiles and, more importantly, impressed with the work that Andrew has done on the walls. This makes them feel a bit more confident for Sunday: dialup | broadband

They lose a builder every time they do a room — now they've lost Kenny. Luckily for Jamie and Andrew, they look upon this as funny and find a replacement builder in no time at all. The pressure is getting to Andrew, but he knows that when Jamie sees the bathroom, her enthusiasm will help keep him positive. But she's not as enthusiastic as he had hoped … in fact, she thinks the tiles are disastrous.

Fun in the sun
For fun and to continue the competition, Jamie Durie challenges our couples to a game of beach volleyball. There is a catch: if they win, they each get to keep $1000 from their budget. If they lose, they have to donate $1000 to Jamie's preferred charity. Congratulations to Jamie! He has beaten our couples and has kindly donated $4000 to the Children's Cancer Institute of Australia: dialup | broadband
