The hammer fell – last to auction They felt like they had the luck of going last on their side but were very nervous after Jane & Matt’s results yesterday.
There were nine registered bidders for Richard & Steven’s auction and the bidding started at $750,000. There was no problem in the rise of the price as it seemed to go up almost immediately to $790,000.
It then hit a disappointing lull in the bidding for the boys as it finally reached $800,000, and stayed there.
Final call, SOLD for $800,000!
Words can’t describe our disappointing this was to the guys as pure shock hit them as they realised they too hadn’t made anything above the reserve.
They walk away from today’s auctions with complete pride as they have managed to donate $65,000 to their charity, Variety and we would like to congratulate Richard & Steven.
